Every piercing I get gets infected.?

Five years ago I started getting body piercings, and I never had one get infected but decided to just keep my eyebrow and navel and took the rest out. Then, Three years ago, I couldnt put cheap earrings in my ears, only 14k gold, but I took my piercings out because of a job. Last year I got my tongue pierced and it never UN SWELLED for three months it stayed swollen, so i took it out. I got it repierced and had the same issue but never had an issue with infection. Got my monroe/madonna pierced FOUR times because the same thing kept happeneing and it would get infected. Finally decided to get my eyebrow pierced again a few months ago, and it instantly became infected. When i wear cheap jewelery my skin breaks out, so I am wondering if I have an allergy to something, or if im just NOT meant to have piercings anymore. ALSO, if i am allergic, is there a type of jewelery I can use when getting pierced? Can you develop an allergy to piercing jewelery over time?

Every piercing I get gets infected.?
You can develope allergies over time, but most people (there are rare instances though) are not allergic to surgical or implant grade stainless steel or titanium which should be the only metals the jewlery is made of that your piercer is using. Anything else is substandard.

Hate to tell you though, some people just aren't meant to have piercings. Regardless as to how the piercing is done, how it is cared for, or what is changed each time it is redone in an effort to keep the piercing, some people's body will never adjust to it and allow it to heal. Having an infection every single time can be in indicator, rejection every single time is another indicator, and irritation to the piercing that never goes away is another indicator. All of these things indicate your body's lack of willingness to heal the piercing and allow it to remain. Sadly, you may be one of those people.
Reply:You are likely allergic to nickel, so you can buy nickel free jewelry. But you may want to look into other things with your doc, could be an immune system thing, possibly caused by one of your piercers using dirty tools. And yeah, you can get an acquired allergy to anything at any time.
Reply:try using surgical steel and clean them with saline and not alcohol. and the tongue all i have did is use antiseptic mouthwash diluted down and glyoxide and then brushing my tongue with toothpaste. i have not had any problems yet.
Reply:You may want to try titanium or niobium, but keep in mind that some people's bodys do not like piercings, and yours sounds like one of them.
Reply:It could just be that your body is rejecting the piercings. It's not that uncommon.
